Happy New Year! 

One month down, 11 to go. As we get into 2019, we can’t help but look back. CultureSync experienced a radical transformation in 2018. Some of it was planned and some of it surprised us.

Revisiting and Refreshing Our Values

Our original values—Vitality, Partnership, and Invention—were created when our company was founded almost 20 years ago. We use our values every day, and just like everything else, they change and grow and evolve. It was time to look at our values according to how they are operationalized every day. We spent the last year playing with our new values and putting them into action. We are excited to unveil them to you.

Our New Mission

Our company has grown up and matured and we knew it was time for our mission to reflect that. We took a good, hard look at our mission. The mission we had been living was “make companies suck less.” Upon reflection, that felt really stage 2 to us.

We realized that our clients are brilliant and the work we do with them makes them and us even better. Our true mission is leading transformation with individuals, teams, and organizations.

Individual and Team Growth

Our values and our mission inspired a lot of individual and team growth for us this past year. We have a lot to be proud of.

I graduated with my master’s degree in organizational change from Columbia University. Email me if you want to read my thesis on the Dark Side of Leadership.

Ken taught an awesome semester long class on leadership for the Marshall School of Business at USC that got rave reviews from his students. You can ask him about it by emailing Ken.

Dave, Harte, and I got certified in the Hogan Assessment as part of our ongoing research on the dark side of leadership and our commitment to provide the best tools available to our clients. If you want more information about the Hogan, schedule a call with Harte.

New Website

Our transformation over this past year has inspired us to capture and reflect all of our changes on our website. We are very excited that our new website launched on December 31st. Harte led this project for us and led our team through this big, creative endeavor. Please check it out and let us know what you think!
