Assessment Options
As part of leadership development, we recommend specific assessments to increase understanding and appreciation for individual and team strengths. Assessments also provide insight into potential team challenges and prepare your team to fully engage in the work.
The Enneagram
The Enneagram is a research-based assessment that explores core personality structure, internal motivations, and patterns of behavior and thought. It helps leaders better understand their strengths, challenges, and blind spots.
We use the IEQ-9, a scientifically validated and highly accurate Enneagram tool.
The Enneagram is used to:
-
Build deep individual self-awareness.
-
Surface patterns that influence communication, conflict, and decision-making.
-
Increase team understanding and effectiveness through shared insight and appreciation of diverse styles.
It is often used to support leadership development for individuals, teams, and cohorts.
Cost: $750 for assessment + debrief
Hogan Assessment
The Hogan Assessment is the industry standard for understanding leadership potential and performance. Grounded in over 30 years of research, it provides a comprehensive view of personality through three tools:
-
Hogan Personality Inventory (HPI): Measures day-to-day strengths and working style.
-
Hogan Development Survey (HDS): Identifies potential derailers under stress or pressure.
-
Motives, Values, Preferences Inventory (MVPI): Explores what intrinsically motivates and drives a person.
There are no right or wrong scores. Hogan is designed to increase strategic self-awareness and guide intentional leadership development for individuals, teams, and organizations.
Cost: $1,000 for assessment + debrief

Dave’s recent class about Tribal Leadership at Qualcomm drew an enthusiastic crowd of managers, directors and vice presidents. I have received so many positive comments from people who felt Dave really connected with them. Some managers have even formed a discussion group called ‘Tribal Leadership’ to share ideas and principles introduced by Dave and to bolster their management skills.
Thank you for the wonderful guidance and words of wisdom. I’m very happy to be able to share good news with you. You got me through a tough time in which some of my most precious values were being tested and I’m so glad we talked, because I am seeing that good is prevailing and people are doing the right thing. I’m proud to be a part of this and looking forward to helping it continue.
[Dave Logan’s] five culture stages have been a thought provoking breakthrough for our organization as we strive to be a global, seamless and integrated, service provider. His highly interactive talks and teachings on Tribal Leadership have helped to ‘redefine what is possible’ for our people and organization as a whole.
I have had the pleasure of working with Ken Perlman over the past 6 years in a number of different situations. Ken has a unique skill of coming into a new organization & quickly identifying both the business need as well as the impact of change across the organization at a personal level.
